MoAnA LUU Wins Prestigious Best Jewelry Designer Award at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards 2024

In a star-studded ceremony that brought together the crème de la crème of the fashion and cinema world, MoAnA LUU, the visionary behind MANLUU, was honored with the prestigious Best Jewelry Designer Award at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards 2024. The exclusive event took place in a private residence in Los Angeles, drawing an impressive list of celebrities, including Oscar-winning actress Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Cynthia Erivo, Jessica Biel, Kelly Rowland, Heidi Klum, Paris Hilton, Ashley Graham, Rachel Zoe, Alessandra Ambrosio, Selma Blair, Dita von Teese, and Lily Aldridge.

Hosted by the charming Zooey Deschanel, the gala evening celebrated the most promising talents in the fashion industry, spanning categories such as ready-to-wear, jewelry, accessories, and graduates. The awards also recognized two special distinctions for inclusivity and sustainability, with nearly $500,000 in funds allocated to the winners. 

The Best Jewelry Designer Award was presented to MoAnA LUU by the talented actress and singer Cynthia Erivo. This accolade is a testament to MoAnA's exceptional craftsmanship and her unique ability to weave the cultural richness of the French West Indies into her creations. At MANLUU, she skillfully employs materials like braided rattan, gold, and precious stones to fashion unparalleled pieces that not only adorn but also tell a story.

 The evening also highlighted other brilliant talents across various fashion categories. The award for Best Ready-to-Wear Designer was taken home by Charles Harbison of Harbison Studio. In the accessories category, Esha Soni claimed the prize. The Graduate of the Year award, which spotlights emerging talent fresh from fashion schools, was awarded to Tamil Arable. The Inclusivity Award sponsored by Shop with Google was presented to Ashley Harris of Don’t Let Disco. Batsheva Hay won the Sustainability Award.
